I draw shapes all day; sometimes they become buildings.

Adam Welker is a Seattle-based designer and artist. He is currently seeking new opportunities.

He led teams in designing multi-family housing, academic buildings, and offices at Bruner/Cott Architects in Boston. At BCA Adam gained experience in renovating historic buildings for adaptive reuse. Prior to joining Bruner/Cott in 2022, Adam was a Project Manager at Douglas C. Wright Architects in New York City. He applied his passion for old homes and traditional architecture to a broad range of projects including residential estates, city apartments, vacation homes, and country clubs.

Before moving to New York to join DCWA in 2016, Adam was a designer with Ford & Associates Architects in Columbus, Ohio. There he led the design of many corporate office, institutional, retail, and mixed-use commercial developments for high profile clients throughout the country.

He studied to be a painter before pursuing his master’s degree in architecture at the Knowlton School of Architecture at The Ohio State University.

Adam has had the privilege of working with clients like Amazon, Time Warner, DSW, The Ohio State University, Limited Brands, Wexner Medical Center, and more.

Adam is passionate about drawing, painting, running, and reading. He shares his apartment with a pretentiously named black cat, Eames.
